Rev. Fay Octavia Elliott
Fay is a three-time cancer veteran who recently recovered from a near-terminal encounter with metastatic breast cancer. She assists individuals in the journey with cancer to integrate body, mind and spirit; live life mindfully; reduce stress; and recover control over their lives.
Her personal mission is to enable people facing cancer at whatever level: just diagnosed, in treatment, post treatment, caregiver, friend or family member to not merely survive, but to thrive their experience. Everyone may not be cured of their illness but everyone can be fully healed and whole in mind and spirit even when the body seems to have a mind of its own.
Fay earned her Masters of Divinity from Naropa University and is an ordained minister and chaplain with an interfaith perspective. She is a Certified Authentic Happiness Coach, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher, medical hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, and Journey practitioner. Through her experience with different tools and modalities, she can desighn strategies for your unique needs along the journey.
One of Fay's students said, "When I faced cancer the first time, I was terrified. When I faced open heart surgery, I was terrified. When I was recently diagnosed with cancer again, I was not terrified thanks to Fay and her teachings."
